Got this because my stock plastic tekno esc and servo mount was bowed where the esc sits. This fixed that problem extremely well! Also made the servo more rigidly mounted to the car. I noticed a slight increase in steering response. Felt a little more direct because the servo mount has zero flex I am guessing. Fits my Tekin RX8 Gen 3 ESC well too!
Perfect fit to my Tekno 1/8 buggy EB48-2.1. Its good have it because it protect the highspeed servo. Highly recommended to all.
Fit and finish is nice, but the mounting surface is smaller dimensions than stock, so you cannot mount a hobbywing xr8 g2s plus esc. that was the only esc i tried, so if you have a smaller one it may work, like the xr8 g3
Interference with motor. I had to grind out a spot so the was space for the motor.
Take your time to mount this , theirs a correct way to pose the ESC plate if it does not fit easily into the chassis it's because you need to turn it around 180 degrees. Overall Impressive fit and finish and really no flexing of the servo mount at full lock with super torque servo on my new Tekno Truggy , Will report back at the end of the summer season to validate the difference with my buddy who has the same truck and servo but the stock mount.
