The aluminum binds under pressure. If you tighten the spring down the same as the plastic, there is no give and will break another component or even the servo. If you loosen it enough to be effective, there is too much give and the steering is sloppy. There was no middle ground under testing. Would not recommend. 3 Stars because while it does not fit as a race component, it is built with precision and is a quality part.
