Awesome engine. The quality you get from this engine is amazing (to be expected from OS) and it is for a very affordable price. I have 2 of these engines with a bit over a gallon through both of them. I followed the break-in instructions from the manual and they broke in very easy and quickly. It makes tons of power. It pushes my truggy around no problem and is a very very fast engine in my buggy. It has very good top end and good torque. The power comes in smoothly and seemingly effortlessly. It pushes through load like nothing but is still very controllable. I will update my review later when I’ve had more fuel run through the engine
This engine is literally the OS XZ-B Spec 2, which was OS’s top engine for many years. Just rebranded for FP. Excellent engine with tons of power and arguably the best value competition .21 on the market. Run with a 7mm restrictor and 30% fuel and you’ll be hauling.
Gteat engine at great price. runs strong on pipe but does tend drink fuel rather quickly. i recommend this engine to peoplle who had "broken in" an engine before. not an entry level engine, just a bargain price...
All three reviews are for this exact variant and rate it 5/5. Reviewers agree it delivers strong power, good torque and top end, and breaks in easily when the manual's break-in procedure is followed. They describe it as good value for a competition .21 nitro engine. One reviewer states it is a rebrand of the OS XZ-B Spec 2, a claim not verified here. The only recurring criticism is high fuel consumption, with one reviewer noting it uses fuel quickly. That same reviewer suggests it suits people who have already broken in an engine rather than beginners. Review count is small, so the picture is limited.
