About this part

Receiver Overview:

FlySky INR4-GYB 4-Channel 2.4GHz AFHDS3 Receiver. The INr4-GYB receiver features Flysky's third-generation automatic frequency hopping digital system (AFHDS 3) and uses a single-antenna bidirectional transmission system. It includes a high-performance gyroscope, is PPX6 splash-proof, and supports battery voltage detection. Fully adaptable to drift, entertainment, FI, and linear acceleration cars, it also offers four Newport function interfaces that can be customized for i-BUS2, S.BUS, i-BUS, PPM, and more. This receiver is compatible with AFHDS 3 protocol transmitters, with the Noble series enabling the gyroscope function.

Receiver is nice and small, gyro operates throttle and steering which is great. I think I have like 7 of these? Only real issue I’ve ever had is that the antenna don’t like getting dragged across the ground at 86 mph in an upside down arrow limitless and they don’t like salt water ?

I have this Rx/Gyro combo in my Rhino RTS 1/24 drift car. After a little fine tuning in my Noble Pro Plus I can’t complain. I do recommend using a soft spongy double stick tape for mounting, helps with keeping the over sensitivity down.

I really like the amount of configuration the gyro has when paired with a Noble+/Pro+ TX. I was a little skeptical about a RX/Gyro combo but it seems to work, and at least be on par with the "main" competitors.

What reviewers say

Reviewers, all verified owners rating it 5/5, report that the receiver is small and that its built-in gyro handles throttle and steering well. One reviewer uses it across several vehicles and another in a 1/24 drift car, and both report good results after tuning on Noble transmitters. A tuning tip is to mount the unit with soft, spongy double-sided tape to reduce over-sensitivity. The gyro's configurability is praised, and one reviewer said it performs on par with main competitors. The one recurring concern is the antenna, which one reviewer said was damaged when dragged across the ground at high speed and which did not hold up to salt water.

  • + Small receiver size
  • + Gyro handles throttle and steering
  • + Extensive gyro configuration
  • + Performs on par with main competitors
  • − Antenna vulnerable to damage
  • − Antenna poor with salt water
  • − Over-sensitive without soft mounting
