my only real complaint with this is I'd like to see some more lighting options. mainly just a mode to have a channel go from dim (like a running light) to bright. on the fly brightness adjustment would be nice too. will it ever get these with firmware updates? who knows. works great for my SCX10 with three servos, three ESC connections, and battery telemetry.
What a great idea to combine receiver and lighting controller all in one. You gotta have the right TX of course, but for those wanting lighting with limited space AND 8 channels this is a great option. 4* simply because the price is up there.
I am using this receiver with a Flysky noble nb4 pro plus. It can also be used with the noble nb4+. The light functions are fully programmable. As in channel mixing with leds, led brightness, modes like strobe, blink, constant, and more. The point in the steering or throttle when the leds turn on/off is tunable. And way more features. Like working brake lights even while using a crawler drag brake and also reverse lights. All programmable. I run this Inr8-8d receiver as the master receiver on the body and use a Fgr8b receiver as the slave receiver on the chassis for 16 total channels with the option to bind another receiver to the rig. This Inr8-8d will not be my last.... all my rigs need this easy to use and amazingly tunable receiver. Thanks, Flysky! Love, Junior
Three verified-owner reviews rate this 8-channel AFHDS3 receiver 4 to 5 out of 5. Reviewers agree that its integrated light control is a key strength, with programmable LED channel mixing, brightness, and modes such as strobe, blink and constant, plus adjustable on/off points tied to steering or throttle. One reviewer describes working brake and reverse lights and pairing it with a second receiver for 16 channels. Reviewers note it works with Flysky transmitters such as the NB4 Pro Plus and NB4+, and one used it with an SCX10 with three servos, three ESCs and battery telemetry. The main complaint is limited lighting options: one reviewer wants a dim-to-bright mode and on-the-fly brightness adjustment, with no firmware timeline given. One reviewer found the price high. Review count is small.
