It does make a big difference. I was worried I would not get enough bang for the buck but it makes it a much better crawler. For me it makes it much more scale and enjoyable. The components fit very well also. I am picky about TX's to me it is the connection to the truck. The radio is the only down side. The SLT2 is much better. If I had to do it over again I would not buy the kit. I would get the Furitek Nano Unity Speed motor and then buy Furitek Micro SLT2 Receiver for Axial SCX30 once Amain gets them in stock.
