Furitek FCX24 Transmission & Mini Godzilla Brushless Motor Kit

I just installed this setup into my Max Smasher after already having the option high speed motor. Heres my take. The high speed motor is a very good match for the max smasher. The problem is, the new ESC they are using doesnt play well with it. MINE DID NOT. I threw a lizard ESC into mine and the high speed motor ran fine. I then bought this godzilla motor and its OVER THE TOP fast. I can drift on demand! Wheelie on demand. Its just bonkers! Now I love Furitek. They are a great company. But my godzilla motor and transmission came to me locked up! Nothing would turn. I tore mine down and noticed the interior transmission gears were still plastic. And I noticed that the motor bolts up directly to a stock transmission. So you cold just buy the motor and install it yourself. Its only 30 bucks. Anyhow, mine was locked up and I tore it apart only to find that the pinion on the motor was touching the transmission cover that protects it. I had to drill a hole out for the pinion to get some room to spin. If I was to do this again, I would have just got the motor alone. Great motor with a furitek ESC. Very very fast. Fun to drive! I do wish they would have allowed us to adjust our own mesh and use other sized pinions. I would like to drop 2 or 3 sizes down on pinion. I dont need all this MAX speed. lol.
