About this part

The Lizard Pro dual Brushed and Brushless ESC from Furitek is a higher performance ESC that was based off the Lizard (non pro) ESC. It takes many of the same features that you expect from the Furitek ESC line up, and improves them if you're looking for extra features, and power options. Changes to the Lizard Pro include a stronger BEC, and 3s LiPo compatibility. Lizard Pros BEC offers 5V or 6.5V outputs, and up to 2.5A of current - enough for the most demanding servo, or accessory line up. For users looking for the ability to utilize a 3s LiPo, while retaining a small size, the Lizard Pro accepts 3s 11.1V LiPo input.

Furitek focused on providing and improved crawling experience when designing new ESC's for the scale platform. Thanks to field-oriented control (FOC) technology, Lizard can allow your SCX24 to crawl at a snails pace with ease. Overall the Lizard provides stable and powerful torque, low noise, high efficiency, and offers high-speed dynamic response.

For users looking for telemetry, the Lizard has you covered. When paired with the optional wireless module (or purchased together as a combo), users can see telemetry data on both Apple and Android devices via the FuriCar app.

  • Brushless and Brushed motor control (default is brushless)

So nice I had to buy it twice. I bought this esc for my 1/18 Atlas and it’s great. Plenty of power and very adjustable. This was my first time putting a brushless motor into a crawler and I was surprised how slow and steady this could go. I just ordered a second one for my scx24 Gladiator.

Works great and with bluetooth you can customize on a simple app. Must have !

This thing is awesome! I love being able to go into the APP and slow this thing way way down! Telemetry, Running modes, Plus I can mess with my throttle and throttle curve!

I bought it almost 2 years ago, I prolly ran the scx24 3 times since, I ran it with Komodo motor stock receiver and transmitter. I recently purchased a $150 avatar and a $50 receiver (furitek electronics all the way around) to go along with my set Komodo motor. I set it up app says update firmware, I do it then starts up I hit the throttle it started to go and then it stopped and now nothing is working no throttle no steer. I think the ESC just blew out although there is a blue blinking light that’s about all it does. I’m highly upset not at Amain but Furitek. Now I got about $300 in furitek as paper weight.

What reviewers say

Reviewers are split on the Lizard Pro 30A ESC. Several verified owners on crawlers such as the 1/18 Atlas and SCX24 praise its power, adjustability, smooth low-speed control, and the convenience of Bluetooth app setup. Others report connection failures, often requiring location to be enabled, and app or firmware problems including lost Bluetooth pairing, drag brake malfunction after updates, and inconsistent brushed-mode settings. Two reviewers describe the unit failing after a firmware update or after running it, and one says support offered only generic troubleshooting. Reviews do not specify a common cause for the failures.

  • + Strong power and torque
  • + Smooth, slow low-speed control
  • + Adjustable settings via app
  • + Easy setup for some owners
