This is a great all in one unit. Brushless motor and transmission combo 3 bolts and your ready to climb!
I bought this for use with the Furitek scythe frame. Works perfectly! Everything fit together as if it was made for one another. I'm purchasing another one for another rig I'm building.
Really great motor and transmission. The gears are very smooth and the entire unit is well put together. Note that you do have to rearrange the SCX24 to get this to fit... the motor is an outrunner, large and will not work as a drop in replacement. And of course you need to get a brushless ESC for this to work (I am using a Furitek). Well worth it though. Low speed control and torque is much better.
Smooth and beautiful and so, so good. It was a snug fit in the Deadbolt, but I assume other models have that extra space up front due to longer front links. Love how it runs.
