I have been eyeballing Furitek products since they first came out so well over a year and half or so. Finally pulled the trigger and got this kit. I was very excited because I’ve really wanted it for awhile. First thing, the motor was missing the brass pinion on the shaft. And secondly, the esc has a short on the battery wire that plugs into the esc under the shrink wrap. So while driving if the wires move or rub the inside of the body it will reboot itself. Over and over again. Very annoying. I emailed Amain and Furitek at the same time. Furitek wrote me back immediately and wants to warranty the esc saying it’s a bad plug. But, I purchased this through Amain so I have to go through them. I still have not heard anything back from Amain in over 3-4 days. Very frustrating because I was so excited for this product! And for the money it shouldn’t be doing what it’s doing! So, other than the esc rebooting over and over……the motor, motor mount, and esc all work and everything went together as it should with no issues. I will buy more Furitek products in the future but I will be purchasing them through them directly for now on based on customer support.
I bought 2 combos for matching SCX-24s. One motor stalls under load and the other is awesome. I’ve emailed Amain about it and just waiting to hear back about the possible faulty motor. 5 stars for the working combo, one star for the other. Follow up- Amain Hobbies sent a replacement motor and it is just as awesome as the other one. Thank you. Five stars on product and service!!!
Nice Motor. Runs smooth. If you never used a brushless for these crawlers, you have to try it. Nice design and installs easily.
This is the best upgrade you could do for your scx24 If you have added all kinds of brass and extra weight this motor and ESC will give you all the torque you need and amazing low speed crawling As far as wheel speed it's about the same as stock for top speed
