DanVerified owneron Futaba HPS-CB500 Brushless S.Bus2 Metal Gear Servo (High Voltage)

Fantastic servo, with one potential caveat. This servo is FAST. I put this in an old Tekno EB48SL, which is basically a light SCT with 1/8 buggy bits. For this platform, this servo is a perfect mix of speed and torque, absolutely zero complaints about its performance. It responds instantly, feels like I merely think a steering angle and its already happened. Time will tell on its durability and reliability, but I have Futaba servos from the early 90's that are working perfect, so I have high hopes. Now for the caveat: this servo is a SMIDGE wider than typical. At 21mm wide, its a little over 1mm wider than my other "standard"-size servos. This meant I had to trim the servo cage on my buggy to get it to fit properly. Well worth it in the end given the performance of this servo, but just something to be aware of. Depending on what you want to use it in, may not matter at all.
