Futaba R203GF S-FHSS 3-Channel 2.4GHz Receiver
About this part
Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology minimizes interference from other 2.4GHz systems. Easy Link prevents unwanted signal conflicts by using a special, pre-assigned ID code. High-voltage operation.
NOTE: This receiver is NOT compatible with 2.4GHz FASST or FASSTest systems. It will work with FHSS and T-FHSS transmitters, but transmitter mode will need to be changed to from T-FHSS/FHSS to S-FHSS mode.
Features:
- S-FHSS/FHSS auto detection
- Compatible with Futaba S-FHSS/FHSS protocol

Probably the best value for money. At the opposite to other models, this receiver is not disturbed by the high current drains made by the most powerful digital servos.
It was easy to bind and did it no issues. Really small but works great with my 3PV 3. Went into my brat fitted it upside down under the driver.
Great entry level surface receiver especially for those who have multiple RC vehicles and would like to keep Futaba across the fleet at a budget. This is the base model without telemetry or SBUS. Make sure your transmitter is setup for S-FHSS first before trying to bind otherwise the receiver will appear dead with no LED light.
I've never had any problems with these nor noticed any lag/delay/interference. I must have 10 of these in different vehicles at this point, not a single hiccup.
Will work at 8.4V running through it with a Castle 10AMP Adjustable BEC. I’m running a ProTek RC 1KTBL servo at 8.4V in my X-MAXX.
Reviewers largely praise the Futaba R203GF as a reliable, budget-friendly 3-channel S-FHSS receiver for surface vehicles, with most describing easy binding, no lag or interference, and consistent performance with Futaba 3PV transmitters across multiple vehicles. It is noted as a base model without telemetry or SBUS. One reviewer reports stable use at 8.4V with a BEC. A single 3-star review describes a receiver failing after water exposure in a boat and advises waterproofing for wet use. Setup note: the transmitter must be configured for S-FHSS before binding, or the receiver shows no LED.
- + Good value for money
- + Easy binding
- + Reliable, no lag or interference
- + Works with Futaba 3PV transmitters
- − No telemetry or SBUS
- − Must set transmitter to S-FHSS before binding
- − Vulnerable to moisture in boat use
