This is an amazing little receiver. It's seriously small, it has an internal antenna, and it's Futaba quality. I have three of these now for my 4PL and love them. Highly recommended.
These things are great. Very small, very light weight, the connectors seem to fit nice and snug, and great reception. The only thing I would have liked to see is channel 4 and battery ports separated. I could see where you might want to use channel 3 and or 4 and not have room to plug in a transponder and or fan. Its a small issue that is easily remedied with a Y cable, I just think Futaba could have spent the extra few cents to put another non controlled channel (aka battery port)on the board.
Robert Hall the RX has zero issues, your problem is your Savox is a power hog and the BEC in your LRP ESC can't keep up. Don't blame the receiver it's just the middle man. That said, I've got three of these bound to a 4px for my on road and two tenth scale electric buggies. Not a single issue with them, I run two of them with 7.4 volts off the XR10 Pro BEC with an external capacitor using Savox 2274 servos which are also power hogs. No glitching no issues. Highly recommend these for 1/10 electric as the lack of an antenna makes for a much cleaner install and I've never had a range issue with any of them at any of the tracks I race at.
Best Receiver EVEEEERRRRRRRR!!! I have 3 of them and there great with no problems--Bind easy--I have ran indoors and outdoors and works with both. I am sure all other companies will follow in this direction shortly.
I am using this with a Futaba 3PL 2.4GHz radio and a Futaba digital servo. It works flawlessly, no interference whatsoever! Small, great price, no antenna wire = Highly recommended!
Reviewers widely praise the Futaba R204GF-E for its small, light build, lack of an external antenna, easy binding and generally reliable range and signal in on-road, drift, touring and crawler applications. Several note it fits smaller receiver boxes and avoids an extra antenna hole. Most reviewers report no issues. A minority report problems: one 2/5 review describes signal glitches with a Savox servo and LRP system, and another 1/5 review reports a unit faulty on arrival. A rebuttal review argues glitches are caused by high-draw servos and weak ESC BECs rather than the receiver. One reviewer wished channel 4 and the battery port were separated on the board, which can be worked around with a Y-cable.

- + Good range and reliable reception
- − Signal glitches reported with some Savox and LRP setups
