The app does not work at all, it is completely broken as of July 2026. The charger itself works fine with Gtech batteries but does not work at all if you don't have a balance wire plugged in. Since when do NiMh and Pb batteries have balance wires. I am pretty sure this could all be solved with an update, but since the app is completely broken that is out of the question. Do not buy until they fix the app so you can actually use what you pay for.
Why people are not buying this is beyond me. The product is bullet proof, gets the job done. If you think you need more power, hook it into DC. That is really all you need. The speed of charging is well within the amount of time needed at a race. If you are even nervous about it then by another battery. You can buy another top end battery and still be cheaper than the higher end chargers that don't do much more for you. The connection to the app it awesome. I can keep tabs on what is happening in the pits if I go for a break or to watch some racing.
Absolutely a great charger would recommend if you’re in the market for a new one. I really like the features that the charger provides.
Needed a semi-compact charger for a very specific travel purpose. My existing charger as great as it is was just too bulky. My D300+ was easy to pack up and use on the road. While the distance of the BT range is limited, being able to turn your back on the charger and have a screen up is nice. The only issue I had was actually located the actual app, but after a quick google search that was resolved. If you need a good solid compact charger and use GenAce batteries this should be your go to. If you want to save 15%, the D300 would be a solid choice, just without the Bluetooth connectivity.
