I bought 4 of these batteries and all 4 puffed within 60-90 days. Batteries were always balance charged at the correct rate every time. I would not recommend these to anyone.
Ran good for about 3 club races, puffed after the 3rd race. Case is starting to bulge and split. Not impressed.
These cannot handle the abuse from 1/8 racing buggies on large outdoor tracks like the full size lipos can, so if you are running smaller indoor tracks only I would only recommend these short 4s lipos. Also, these Redlines are good quality and in the past fair priced, now they are way overpriced, so I will be looking for other brands to buy now.
Great value, 10 minutes main without a problem, plenty of power all the time. Perfect size for the MBX8R eco.
Good product, I just keep them in storage charge and when it's time to go to the track balance charge. No complaints.
Reviews of this 4S LiHV Shorty LiPo are sharply split. Two reviewers report puffing and case swelling, one after about three club races and another within 60 to 90 days, with one stating all four of their packs failed despite correct balance charging. A third reviewer found the pack durable for smaller indoor tracks but not for 1/8 buggies on large outdoor tracks, and felt the price had risen. Two verified owners were satisfied, citing good power, 10-minute runtimes, a suitable size for the MBX8R eco, and no problems when stored and charged correctly. Overall, the recurring concern is swelling, while the positive reports concern performance and value.
