# ????? 5-Star Review ## GooSky E2 GPS RTF Electric Military Scale Helicopter — Grey **Well done, GooSky!** ????? I have had a lot of fun flying the **GooSky E2 GPS RTF Electric Military Scale Helicopter**, and overall I am very impressed with what GooSky has put together. For someone looking for a scale military-style RC helicopter that is enjoyable, forgiving, and relatively easy to learn, the E2 is a great choice. It looks fantastic in the air, flies smoothly, and the GPS system makes getting started much less intimidating than I initially expected. There are a few things I think GooSky could improve, but none of them take away from how much fun this helicopter is to fly. ### ? Getting the Cockpit/Battery Compartment Apart My biggest initial frustration was separating the cockpit to access the battery compartment. **The first few times, it was a little difficult to get the cockpit separated.** However, after changing the battery several times, I became much more comfortable with the process and it became considerably easier. That said, I think this is one area where GooSky could make an already good helicopter even better. **My recommendation to GooSky would be to redesign the cockpit attachment system.** A simple magnetic attachment system or an easy-to-use locking-pin system would make removing and reinstalling the cockpit much quicker and more convenient. It would also reduce the amount of handling and pressure required on the scale body when changing batteries. For a helicopter where you are likely to be changing batteries frequently because you're having so much fun flying it, this would be a worthwhile improvement. ### ?? GPS Mode Makes Flying Extremely Enjoyable The **GPS flight mode is one of the best features of this helicopter**, particularly for someone who is new to RC helicopters. In GPS mode, the E2 is very easy and forgiving to fly. If you already know how to fly a drone, you can pick up the basics of this helicopter fairly quickly and start having fun. The helicopter feels stable and predictable, which gives a beginner the confidence to concentrate on learning the controls rather than constantly worrying about losing control of the aircraft. The non-GPS modes are a different story. There is definitely a **learning curve when you move away from GPS-assisted flight**, and that's actually a good thing. It gives you somewhere to go as your skills improve. You can start with GPS, become comfortable with the helicopter, and then gradually challenge yourself by moving into more traditional helicopter flight modes. That makes the E2 something you can **grow into rather than grow out of.** ### ? Controller Design The transmitter is another area I really like. The buttons and controls are cleanly laid out and easy to understand. However, I would make one recommendation to GooSky here as well. The **black lettering on some of the controls is a little small and can be difficult to see quickly**, particularly when you're outside concentrating on the helicopter. I would recommend changing the lettering to a **medium-sized, brighter font**, perhaps white or even a high-visibility color such as neon yellow. That would make the controls much easier to identify at a glance and would be especially helpful for beginners who are still learning which switch or button controls each function. ### ?? Smooth and Forgiving Flight The E2 flies **very smoothly**, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it handles a mild breeze. It has a nice, stable feel in the air and doesn't constantly feel like you're fighting the helicopter. Another thing I really appreciate is how forgiving it is during landing. Even when you're still learning and don't make a perfect landing, the helicopter can handle a **bounce onto grass** surprisingly well. Of course, you should always try to make controlled landings and avoid unnecessary impacts, but having a helicopter that is somewhat forgiving while you're learning makes the experience much less stressful. And let's be honest — **less stress means more flying!** ### ? A Great Beginner RC Helicopter I consider the GooSky E2 to be a **very good beginner RC helicopter**, particularly for someone who already has some experience with drones. The military-scale appearance is a huge part of the appeal for me. It has a very cool look in the air and definitely doesn't look like a basic toy helicopter. The aesthetics are excellent overall. It's not perfect, and there are certainly small areas that could be refined, but GooSky has done a very good job creating a helicopter that **looks good, feels like a real RC aircraft, and is genuinely fun to fly.** There's something especially satisfying about seeing this helicopter sitting on the ground, taking off, and then flying around under your control. ### ? Price and Value I would describe the price as **good to okay — certainly not bad and not excessively expensive**, especially when you consider everything that comes with the package. You're getting a scale-style helicopter, GPS-assisted flight, a capable transmitter, and a platform that can accommodate both beginners and pilots who want to develop their skills further. For what you get, I think the E2 represents a **reasonable value for someone who wants to get into scale RC helicopters without immediately spending a fortune.** ### ?? Final Thoughts Overall, I am **very happy with the GooSky E2 GPS RTF Electric Military Scale Helicopter**. It looks great. It flies smoothly. GPS mode is extremely beginner-friendly. It handles mild wind well. It's forgiving enough to make learning enjoyable. And, most importantly, **it's FUN!** I can see myself spending a lot of time flying this helicopter simply because it is enjoyable to take outside, put a battery in it, and fly. If you are a drone pilot who has always wanted to try an RC helicopter, I think the E2 is an excellent way to make that transition. Start in GPS mode, learn the helicopter, get comfortable with it, and then begin experimenting with the non-GPS flight modes as your skills improve. GooSky has built a very enjoyable helicopter here. With a few relatively minor improvements — especially the cockpit/battery access and more visible controller labeling — I think they could make an already great beginner-friendly helicopter even better. **Well done, GooSky!** **????? 5 out of 5 stars** **Would I recommend it? Absolutely.** **Would I buy it again? Yes.** **Is it fun to fly? Without a doubt! ?**
