Boom appears to be made of aluminum. Its dimensions are slightly larger than the OEM unit, so a whole lot of extra pressure is transferred to the anti-rotation guide mount when installing / when installed. If you do not snap the guide when installing this boom, which I managed to do, the guide could break on the slightest of rough landings / etc. Following a day of flights, a later found the anti-rotation had broken w/ the heli just sitting on the bench overnight. To properly install this boom, you will need to reduce (dremel) the portion that slips into the guide, so that it fits like the OEM one does. I just painted an extra carbon boom that I already had, to get the OEM fitment w/ the color change.
