These look amazing! Compared to that chinso plastic frame that the max came with! The only thing is it’s still pretty delicate, not as delicate as the plastic frame, but close! These framed sides are very thin, which I think they honestly did to keep the weight down, but as a result, they are pretty fragile! I’m honestly thinking about buying two sets of frame , and epoxy in them together, and put them on that way. I feel like weight isn’t that big of a deal with the max or the ultra, because it has more than enough power to make it fly really well! The other thing I will say is, I feel like the max flies better with a carbon fiber frame, and it feels more stable than with the plastic one. I think because the air frame is more rigid this way I noticed a pretty immediate difference when I did the swap over. I actually just bought the ultra frame sides for my max, because the availability of the upgrade kits has been pretty limited. I saved the old frame sides from the kid that I obliterated., to use as a template to drill the sensor hole that you need to have to make these fit the max, but otherwise you don’t have to do any modifications to make this work on an S2 max, that being said obviously you don’t have to do anything to make them work on an S2 ultra. Overall, I’m very happy with this upgrade, I just wish it were a little more durable, but I think I can easily fix that with a solution that I mentioned above, highly recommended! Pat McLean
