Works exactly as expected for breaking in tires with an impact
Surprisingly centered. I tried to make one of these out of a cheap bit and spare hex and it was so off centered and wobbly, I just decided to buy a real one. Pro: the shaft appears to be a 4mm grub screw, so you can probably replace it if needed or use a longer one for stadium truck wheels or other deep wheels if the stock shaft is too short. Con: It comes with a cheap nylock nut that if you need to tighten the wheel down (which i don't), will need a wrench or you could use a nut without the nylon... A better option would have been a setup station type aluminum thumb nut like the AKA tool, but that one doesn't seem to have a replaceable shaft so I went with the gravity.
Works very good for what it is. However, the 1/4" bit is coated and will not fit a quick connect 1/4 drill. The coating makes the 12mm hex quite tight fitment as well.
Reviewers generally find the Gravity RC Tire Break In Bit works as intended for breaking in tires with an impact driver. One reviewer reports good centering compared with a homemade version, and notes the shaft is a 4mm grub screw that may be replaceable or swappable for longer shafts. Criticisms focus on the included nylock nut, which one reviewer says needs a wrench to tighten, and on fit issues: the coated 1/4 inch bit does not fit a quick-connect 1/4 inch drill, and the coating makes the 12mm hex fitment tight. Three reviews is a small sample, all from verified owners.
