As always Hitec has great quality and performance. Highly recommend.

Edwin OrtizVerified owneron Hitec AD380 DC Battery Discharger & Analyzer (6S/40A/380W)

Hitec needs to fix the software, if you try to discharge at 40A it will just stop after 15-20 seconds and the battery will jump back to almost full again. It needs to monitor the voltage for a few seconds before it stops discharging.

Paul KnudsenVerified owneron Hitec AD380 DC Battery Discharger & Analyzer (6S/40A/380W)

I use this paired with my HiTec charger. Certainly have not explored all its capabilities. Together, the two provide a good method to charge, discharge, and store batteries at realistic charge and discharge rates, utilized by racers.

What reviewers say

Reviewers of the Hitec AD380 DC Battery Discharger & Analyzer (6S/40A/380W) are divided. Two reviewers praise its quality, performance and use alongside a Hitec charger for charging, discharging and storing batteries at realistic rates. One reviewer reports a software fault: at 40A discharge the unit stops after 15–20 seconds and the battery voltage rebounds to near full, and they ask for a few seconds of voltage monitoring before the discharge stops. One reviewer notes they have not explored all of its capabilities. All reviews are from verified owners and relate to the 6S/40A/380W variant.

  • + Good build quality and performance
  • + Works well with Hitec chargers
  • + Suitable for realistic charge and discharge rates
