This is the Hitec D845WP Waterproof Monster Torque Steel Gear Large Scale Servo. The steel D-845WP is part of the D-Series servo line. All Hitec D-Series servos have been designed Hitec's cutting edge, custom engineering. Combining industry leading high-resolution, state-of-the-art ultra-response technology with a 32-bit MCU and 12-bit ADC for unprecedented programmability and flexibility, these servos deliver significantly smoother movement.
The speedy, powerful line operates on a wide 4.8 ~ 8.4 voltage range, allowing use with any common battery chemistry without the need for adapters or regulators. Featuring a 15 tooth HD output spline with 3mm hex screw, each D-Series servo brings monster performance never known before in the market.
NOTE: Losi Desert Buggy XL applications will require shimming at the servo or the servo tray, to raise the servo high enough to clear the chassis.

After 1 week this servo started getting stuck at full lock left or right . Then getting burning hot. Amain would not replace it.even tho ive spent nearly 2k with them this year. I had to send it back to hitec and now they arent responding to my emails either. Love having my brand new dbxl out of service for over a month.
Worked for about 15 minutes, then it stopped working but it seems like some electrical failure in the servo that was affecting my ESC and the LED bar. The ESC fan was intermittent and my LED bar wash flashing. Once the servo was unplugged from the receiver, the ESC fan and the LED bar were working fine. Very disappointed.
Ton of power at 6.0 volts, just what I needed for my HPI Baja. Will need to cut the battery box to fit it, but great upgrade, super happy.
Big servo, lots of power! I have no doubt it will last longer that the stock servo. Amain really helped me out with this. Put this in a Losi DBXL 2.0. It will fit in the servo tray as is, but I would suggest a very slight trim anyway. And the direction is opposite of the stock servo, but a click of a switch on the transmitter fixes that.
Woweee. Go Hitec and never look back! I have this stuck in my absolutely nutter Baja Flux build. Very robust, very fast, runs cool. I couldn't be happier. And as always Amain had the best service and fastest shipping in the game.
