About this part
As most servo gears wear, they develop lash and slop. Loose gears mean less control of your model. As a Hitec exclusive, Karbonite gears have eliminated gear lash and slop forever. Karbonite gears are four times stronger than conventional white resin gears, and they are less likely to strip under the shock and loads that would usually break standard gears. We tested Karbonite gears with 250,000 cycles under load and they showed no sign of wear. The result, greater reliability and control with Hitec's Karbonite gear technology.

I use these on my 3DHS 42" AJ Slick. They are quick, strong and have a great centering ability. I had some other servos in the plane before these and these ones were a big improvement. Good price too.
Put this in an Arrma Grom-with a servo saver-and on the first drive the teeth on multiple gears broke. Incredibly fragile, not worth the money.
Very satisfied....I've been flying them in my t-Rex 450 sev2. I've crashed them at least 3 times with no issues until this last crash...it was pretty bad though. They are plenty fast and in my opinion they are equal to the align ds416m wich are metal gear servos. They are affordable and rebuildable so a great choice for me.
Great servo in my Trex 450 FBL. I had over 800 flights of 3D flying on a set and finally burned one up in strong winds doing tight inside loops continuously.
Reviewers generally rate the Hitec HS-65HB Karbonite Micro Servo highly, with three of four giving 5/5. Aircraft owners report fast, strong performance, good centering, and value for money; one describes it as a clear upgrade over earlier servos, and another notes it is rebuildable. Two reviews mention long service, including one with over 800 flights before failure. The main disagreement comes from a 1/5 verified owner who used it in an Arrma Grom car with a servo saver and reported stripped gears on the first drive, calling it fragile. Reviews come from aircraft use and one car use, so the car-related criticism is based on a single report.
