I have been using cheaper battery chargers and batteries for a while, and after a LiPo exploded and almost burned my house down, it was time to invest in a quality charger and batteries. I bought this one mainly so I can charge two batteries, but also because it will determine which batteries are connected. This takes the guess work out of it, ensuring there isn’t an issue. The only thing I wish I knew, was I needed an adapter for the balance charge connector, as well as my dean’s connector. I didn’t know this until after it shipped and had to source it elsewhere. I might have missed this while reading up on the product, and wasn’t a huge deal, but would have been nice if it came with everything given it is a little more costly. Still a 5 star product!
phenomenal charger! only downside is the plug type they chose to use is not all that common with most batteries. adapter harness solved that issue.
Best charger I have ever bought! Way better than my old ven pro duo I had that thing for years till last week when it took a crap on me!! Only time will tell for this little charger! I highly recommend this product to any one getting into the hobby
I can't address durability cuz I just got this thing but WOW is it a great little charger. Last week I borrowed a spektrum two channel charger cuz my old Hitec charger quit and that thing was a PAIN to figure out/operate. I hated it. Sure, if you are using nothing but spektrum "smart batteries" it would be fine but I'm not. With just a channel button and that sweet rotary wheel this one is simple and intuitive. I love it.
Simple enough to use. Compact footprint, no frills. A/B port select and a thumb wheel that clicks to enter. I had to buy leads with the integrated balance lead. I have a 12Vdc power supply so I'm getting twice the output over AC power. I use the 1C rule to select amps and there's plenty to spare.
