Great little charger, doesn't take up a lot of space either at the house, in my carry box, or on the pit table. I recently got back into RC after taking a break for about 5 years, jumped into the 1/24 scale crawlers. I'd bought a small lipo charger that worked well with the little 300mah batteries. I've since built 3 1/10 scale trucks and needed something to handle larger capacity 2 and 3 cell packs and this one worked out great.
This is an excellent little charger. I use it for my basher, crawler, and mini/micro packs, as they are mostly 2s at or less than 6000mAh. Its easy to use and does exactly what it says on the tin. The only real downside is its really weak internal discharge resistor. It can only manage 0.5A per port, which is not much. Only an issue if you don't finish a pack and need to put it into storage mode, but something to be aware if.
This little charger works great. At the track are at home chargers my 2 6000mah 100c 14.8v battery at the same time in under 30 minutes
All three reviewers rate the Hitec RDX2 Mini AC Multi Charger 5/5 and describe it as compact and easy to use. Reviewers say it is space-efficient at home, in a carry box and at the pit table, and handles 2S and 3S packs of various capacities, including 6000mAh 2S packs charged two at once in under 30 minutes. One reviewer notes a limitation: the internal discharge resistor is weak, managing about 0.5A per port, which matters only if a pack is not finished and must be put into storage mode. No reviewer reports other problems.
