I'm running this beast in my Traxxas XRT paired to MAX6 G2 on a M2C motor mount(Vitavon MOD1.5 20/35 gearing). WOW, big difference from stock setup. It has plenty of torque and speed for this application (almost too much). I love the short/stubby CAN so you don't have to worry about bending motor mounts. Highly recommended.

Great motor for the x-maxx, power is always on tap, don’t know why anyone would need or want a bigger more powerful motor than this.

Hobbywing is a great brand and this 1250kv is my second purchase from this brand. Plenty of power and speed for my XRT Ultimate 30 pinion and 46 spur. Using a Max 5G 2 ESC perfect combo

My Traxxas. XRT is a much better RC with this motor and the Max 6 G2 esc.

    What reviewers say

Nine verified owners rate this 1250kV sensored brushless motor highly, averaging close to five stars. Reviewers commonly pair it with Hobbywing MAX G2 ESCs in Traxxas XRT and X-Maxx chassis, often with Vitavon 1.5 module gearing and a motor mount. Recurring praise centres on strong torque, speed and power delivery, with several noting it is a large step up from stock. One reviewer reports the short, stubby can reduces the risk of bending motor mounts. Reviewers mention good gear fit and gear durability when used with Vitavon gears. No significant complaints or reliability problems appear in these reviews, though several are brief and offer limited detail on runtime, heat or long-term durability.

    • + Strong power and torque
    • + Large improvement over stock motor
    • + Short can reduces motor mount stress
    • + Good fit with Vitavon 1.5 gears
    • − Power may be excessive for some setups
    • − Limited long-term durability feedback
