I put one of these little beasts in my re re optima pro with a HW 8.5t, it’s shockingly quick on 2s. I haven’t really fed it a ton of timing, boost, or turbo yet and it’s great already. I remember how “fast” optimas were in the 80’s, so I wasn’t expecting perfection in a pretty much all metal car, but it cooks.

Best esc to start into Rc drift. It has boost and timming options. This will last you a long time until you decide to upgrade.

Very good esc for the price, the boost and turbo functions are decent but they get the job done especially for drifting. This esc is perfect for a budget drift build. My only gripes with the esc is that my older multifunction program card is not comparable with this model. You can still program it through the buttons on the esc itself but I prefer the ease of use with the program cards. But definitely a solid buy and hobbywing quality can't be beat.

excelente ESC por el precio funciona muy bien con motores de censores el turbo es preciso y te da una sensación de tener un segundo cambio muy pero muy bueno y economico.

Carpet 10th scale off-road, running a 6.5.. Bought 2 of these due to a larger track layout for my son's Mod builds.. It can handle the load smooth enough, only problem we had is that both fans new out of the box simply did not work.. Soldiered in an extra fan from one of G2 Pro's and haven't had a problem since.. Card only programming as a mention as well .

What reviewers say

Reviewers generally rate this 120A sensored ESC highly, particularly for drifting and budget builds. Several praise its boost and turbo options, value for money, and ease of setup, with one reviewer finding it strong on 2S in a metal Optima. Owners running sensored motors report smooth, precise turbo behaviour. One reviewer using it on carpet off-road with a 6.5 motor found it handled the load smoothly but reported both fans failed out of the box and had to be replaced. Another noted that older multifunction program cards are not compatible, so programming is done via the onboard buttons. Most reviews are short and few give detailed long-term feedback.

  • + Boost and turbo options
  • + Good value for the price
  • + Easy setup with included wires
  • + Smooth load handling
  • − Cooling fans failed out of the box for one buyer
  • − Older program cards are incompatible
  • − Limited detailed long-term feedback
