I got this esc with the 2600 KV motor. Very fast, very smooth and stays cool even in this heat. Awesome value for the price. Great service and quick delivery as always from A-Main!

Amain update the information, they say 4 mm connectors, that not true. I solder 4 mm banan bullets, and the rest of the info is right. I was checking the esc and don't use 2s. That configuration is out, is similar to arrma esc but better. Still give 5 star they deserved great esc and to much value. Tomorrow I will do some 6s trail crawling

Very good ESC for the price It’s runs cool and it’s 6S I am running it in my serpent 977 on 6S, I could run very fast and bash at the same time. It never overheats. My last ESC caught fire and almost took my serpent out. Setup 44t spur and pinion is 20t Motor 2650kv P512-C26 This thing is wicked fast

Installed in Team Corally Spark XB6 running 6s. I have just been bashing not racing so sorry I can not provide a more detailed review. I am blown away with the performance of this esc for the price. I have nothing negative to say about it. I feel it is a much better value than anything else for bashing by far in the 6s ESC line up

What reviewers say

Reviewers largely praise the Hobbywing QuicRun 8BL150 G2 for its performance and value, particularly for 6S bashing in trucks such as the Serpent 977 and Team Corally Spark XB6. Several report strong speed, smooth throttle response, and good heat management, with one noting it has not overheated. One reviewer reported a 4 mm connector mismatch in the listing, stating they solder 4 mm banana bullets instead. A single 1-star review cites lots of cogging and says they wished they had chosen a different ESC. Overall sentiment is strongly positive, though the sample is small and the cogging complaint is not echoed by others.

  • + Strong performance and speed
  • + Good value for the price
  • + Runs cool, no overheating
  • + Suited to 6S bashing
  • − Reported cogging in one review
  • − Connector listing inaccuracy noted
