I don’t have a lot of experience with 1/8 motors/esc’s so take that into account. Bought this for my mp10e readyset to mainly drop a pinion 13 to 12 and hopefully lower temps while maintaining punch and top speed. Temps went down and top speed went up and gained alittle more than a minute runtime. I had to turn the punch setting to 9 cause it was so ridiculously delayed that you couldn’t correct in air but that’s typical with hw imo. So for the price I’m happy with it. If anything happens I’ll update review as needed.

Nice combo for the price. But delay is very bad. Mojave 4s stock gearing

What reviewers say

Three verified owners rated this 1/8 combo 3 to 5 out of 5. Reviewers agree it offers good value for the price and are satisfied as an upgrade over stock setups. Two owners tested it in 1/10-scale and 1/8-scale applications, one reporting lower temperatures, higher top speed and slightly longer runtime after a pinion change. The recurring complaint is throttle response: two reviewers describe noticeable delay, one needing to lower the punch setting to 9 to make in-air corrections. One reviewer notes limited experience with 1/8 systems. Overall sentiment is positive but tempered by the delay issue. The sample is small.

  • + Good value for the price
  • + Lower temperatures after gearing change
  • + Higher top speed and slightly longer runtime
  • − Noticeable throttle delay
  • − Punch must be reduced for control in air
