About this part

Motor Overview:

The Hobbywing QuicRun Fusion Pro Elite FOC 2-in-1 ESC & Motor System combines powerful performance, compact design, and advanced control into one streamlined package for 1/10-scale crawlers. Measuring just 48.5mm in length, it’s smaller than previous Fusion Pro models and fits easily into most crawler chassis, allowing for clean and organized wiring. Built with IP67-rated protection, this system performs reliably in all-weather conditions—whether you’re tackling rocky trails, muddy streams, or sandy climbs.

About the QuicRun Fusion Pro Elite

Ultra-Compact Design

The Fusion Pro Elite features a shortened, integrated design that simplifies installation and reduces clutter. At 9.5mm shorter than the Pro Standard version and 1.3mm shorter than the AXE 540, it provides more space in the vehicle while maintaining a clean, streamlined wiring layout. This compact footprint allows for better component placement, improving balance and overall build aesthetics.

Advanced FOC Performance

Equipped with Field-Oriented Control (FOC) driving mode, the Fusion Pro Elite delivers superior low-speed torque and smooth throttle response, outperforming traditional brushless systems. It offers precise control for technical crawling and provides an enhanced feel often preferred over brushed setups. The system runs quietly and efficiently, minimizing heat buildup and extending your runtime on the trail.

Smart Features and Versatile Control

The Fusion Pro Elite is designed with intelligent torque output and speed closed-loop control for precision in challenging conditions. It includes an adjustable active drag brake for reliable holding power on steep inclines. The built-in switch-mode BEC supports continuous/peak currents up to 5A with adjustable voltages of 6V, 7.4V, or 8.4V, making it ideal for high-torque, high-voltage servos. Real-time parameter adjustments via the transmitter’s AUX channel and compatibility with LED and LCD Program Box Pro/G2 ensure fine-tuned performance.

This is a truer 540 spec sized motor. Yet I find it to have less torque and punch than the full sized Fusion Pro. I have 18 rigs with most swapped over to Fusion Pros or SEs. These all have better performance on heavier rigs like the Capra, SCX Pro, Base Camp, Element Sendro SE, and Redcat Gen 7, 8 and of course Ascent Fusion plus my custom builds. The Elite seems to work better in 5-6 pound rigs. It has the torque and punch of the Pro but not on heavier rigs. The FOC and drag brake feel upgraded compared to the Pro on the lighter Axial Coyote vs in a Capra, so it now lives in the Coyote. My personal opinion is to buy the Fusion Pro or SE for heavier rigs and save the money on the Elite. Unless you have space issues, then go for the Elite.

Love these motors i have them in 3 of my rigs and they are quite, smooth and lightweight compared to others this size. Plenty of power!

This is a nice set up. I put it in my Vanquish phoenix VS4-10. No modification was needed and just swapped right in. More control and better throttle control down low. Definitely a great product for your crawling rigs.

Dropped right in my capra with plenty of room to spare. Easy to calibrate. The slow speed crawl control is out of this world, the yellow aux wire i have wired so i can control drag brake on the fly. 4s is extra spicy!! 10/10 would buy again

What reviewers say

Reviewers overwhelmingly rate this 2300Kv 540-spec 2-in-1 ESC and motor highly, most giving five stars. Owners commonly report a drop-in fit in popular crawlers and 1/10 rigs such as the Vanquish, Axial SCX10 III and Capra, with simple setup and programming, smooth low-speed crawl control and good power on 4S. One reviewer who ran it on a 4000mAh pack reported long runs at moderate throttle and changed the pinion. The main dissent comes from a 4/5 owner who found it lacks torque and punch in heavier rigs compared with the Fusion Pro or SE, and recommended those for heavier builds. A 3/5 owner reported jerky low-speed operation and drag brake rocking back on a second unit. One reviewer noted no aux/servo connection for the internal BEC.

  • + Drop-in fit in many crawler chassis
  • + Smooth, precise low-speed crawl control
  • + Easy installation and programming
  • + Good power on 4S
  • − Less torque than Fusion Pro in heavier rigs
  • − Jerky low-speed behaviour on one unit
  • − Drag brake rocks back on one unit
  • − No aux/servo connection for internal BEC
