About this part

The Hobbywing QuicRun Fusion FOC 2300Kv 2-in-1 ESC & Motor System is a unique ground-up design, packed with technology specific for scale trucks and rock crawlers.

Features:
  • Integrated design of Hobbywing's patent technology: The integrated design of the ESC makes the size similar to a 540 motor, and the overall weight is only 209g. This makes the layout and wiring of the car simpler, while creating a cleaner overall chassis that also leaves more room for an interior.
  • Intelligent Torque Output & Speed Closed-loop Control for Easy Control: The Fusion system combined with Intelligent Torque output and closed-loop speed control means the power system will maintain the motor’s Torque level and RPM as the vehicle conditions change. Uphill, downhill, under load, the intelligent output torque makes the operation more consistent. Note: If the “RPM/Throttle Matching” is set to “Disabled”, no intelligent torque output & speed closed-loop control, just like the brushed system.
  • FOC (Field-oriented Control) for Super Linearity & HighTorque & Extreme Mute: The Fusion system adopts FOC driving mode so low speed torque is strong, and it runs smoothly at very low speed. Moreover, the motor is extremely silent when it is running. The driving noise which annoys the driver disappears. It is the best choice for a scale rock crawler.
  • Waterproof: Applicable to All Weather & Track Conditions: The IP-67 waterproof system has excellent waterproof and dustproof performance. You can easily drive in the mud, sand, ice, snow and water.
  • High Driving Efficiency for Long Battery Life: FOC offers high efficiency and reduced heat, dramatically extending runtime. Benefitting from a sine wave driving mode, the motor runs silently and softly.
  • Professional Drag Brake Adjustments & Super Parking Capacity: 8 levels of drag brake force and 9 settings of drag brake rate allow a high level of tuning for different conditions and driver preference. The maximum drag brake force is about twice that of an ordinary brushless system of the same size, providing super strong parking capacity on a steep slope.
  • Advanced and Secure Electronic Switch: Compared to standard on/off switches, the dust, dirt, and waterproof electronic switch housing ensures a long reliable life for your power system, and will not suffer from the problems that will damage a mechanical switch.

I love this motor, it is so awesome, the low speed control is just insane. I can get my trx4 blazer, which weighs around 13 pounds, to move so slow you might as well watch the grass grow. Yet stick it in 2nd gear and rip a massive wheelie. I was running 1080 hobbywings with holmes hobbies crawlmasters, which is an awesome set up. But I think I'm slowly gonna convert all my crawlers to this set up. As for people saying you have to order the card to program it, if you have a 1080 or a different kv fusion the card thays with those will work. My 1080 program card worked just fine and saved me from needing to purchase a separate card. Seeing as I have 6 1080 set ups I can spare a card to tune this

I purchased this for a Gmade R1 and it fits perfectly in the tiny chassis. There’s enough room left over I can carefully tuck a tiny 3S 1300mah Lipo in the cage. It’s so quiet I can sneak up on my sleeping dog and run over his tail b4 he even knows what happened. This a great motor for limited space and has awesome control and even better start up. I don’t even notice the slop in the drivetrain. It’s a great motor buggy combo to toss into a backpack and go hiking with. It’s not gonna climb a vertical rock face but it’s perfect on the hiking trails where I go. I highly recommend this Fusion 2-in-1

Really great product. Loved putting it in. Works great on the Capra, however for those putting it in with a stock skid and stock transmission, it will not fit. You need to buy a flat skid to get it to fit. I would recommend this for any crawler.

works very well. the drag brake/hill hold is very impressive only thing that would make this thing slide is the tires losing grip. take it from the box and install in truck I have 2 of these 2 different truck completely different applications and haven't even plugged it in to tune it. Very user friendly so simply. BOX TO TRUCK TO CRAWL!

What reviewers say

Reviewers largely praise the Hobbywing QuicRun Fusion Pro FOC 2-in-1 (2300Kv) for smooth, controllable low-speed crawling, strong torque, good drag brake, and easy installation that removes a separate ESC. Several note the programming card is not included and is needed to change settings, and that the LED card or Bluetooth programmer is required for tuning. Fit can be an issue with stock skids or small chassis, and a fan was suggested for heat. A minority of reviews report failures: smoking or burning out within days to months, power switch sparking, or units not powering on, with one reviewer citing a warranty process as frustrating. Several reviews praise the seller's shipping and service. Most reviews are verified and positive, but the failure reports are a notable recurring concern.

  • + Smooth low-speed control
  • + Strong torque and punch
  • + Easy 2-in-1 installation
  • + Effective drag brake
  • − Programming card not included
  • − Failures reported (smoke, won't power on)
  • − Fit issues with stock skid
  • − Runs hot
