Very good product easy to setup and works great!!
im brand new to drifting and this esc and there motor is the way to go. easy tuning and is fully capable of anything that you need out of a motor and esc.
Im running this with the 10.5 XD motor and it works great! Programming was easy with the card and pc app. Stays cool and gives the power needed
I installed this and ran one session with it and at the end it shut off on me. I couldn't get it to turn back on so I left. The next night I turned it on and it was working great. Went back for another session and I got 5 laps before it shut off again. This time is turn on and off about every 30 seconds. I got ahold of hobbywing tech support and they gave me somethings to try saying that you must run a bigger connector then what is normally ran so an xt90 or xt150 and have battery c rating of 70 to 100c. I have not tried it yet but will be once I get back from out of town.
Top of the line period!!! I have this esc in a couple of my drifters and I love them.I am running with a xddrift motor in a Yokomo zd2 and also one with a Onisiki motor and they are butter smooth.Don’t hesitate the little bit more money is worth it.
Four of five reviewers rate this Hobbywing Xerun XD10 Pro Drift Spec ESC (Black) 5/5 and describe it as easy to set up and program, with good power and smooth running in drift cars paired with XD or similar motors. One verified owner rated it 4/5 and reported repeated unexpected shutdowns during sessions, sometimes requiring a wait before it would power back on. That reviewer said Hobbywing tech support suggested a larger connector such as XT90 or XT150 and a battery rated 70 to 100C, but had not yet tested this advice when writing. Overall, the reviews are positive, though the single shutdown report is a notable outlier.
- + Easy setup and programming
- + Smooth, strong power delivery
- + Stays cool under use
- + Works well with XD motors
- − Unexpected shutdowns reported in one review
- − Tech support suggests larger connector and high-C battery
