I love justocks. The escs fit anywhere and you can gear these things to Jupiter and back before they even think about getting hot. The 14 awg wire is very flexible and easy to solder. I’ve got a 13.5 combo in my velocity sprint car and it’s proved to do just fine against some of the higher end systems. Currently running 34/69 gearing with a 30mm lrp fan. Motor is ~120 degrees after a 3 minute race.
Got it on sale for 30 dollars off. Put it in a Hobao EPX. For the price it is smooth and great for parking lot fun, but I am not racing and should have gotten the EZRUN 3300 combo as that was only 30 dollars more and it is way more versatile. I am still giving 5 stars because my poor choice does not warrant downgrading of a very good product.
Requires programmer, but for the price that is ok. I bought for a beginner drift car and so far it runs great on my home "track" .
I’m very happy with the motor but the ECU shipped the bed so I’m definitely not happy about that so now I need to get a new ECU very unhappy customer
Four reviews, averaging about 3.75 out of 5. Reviewers generally praise the combo's smoothness, flexible 14 AWG wire, and value for the price, with one describing it as strong for a 13.5 sprint-car setup and gearing with a fan. Owners report the motor running reasonably cool in their setups. A beginner drift user and a parking-lot basher report good performance. Criticisms are limited: one reviewer says a programmer is required, another regrets not choosing a different combo for racing, and one reports the ECU arrived damaged and needed replacing. The sample is small, so these views may not represent all buyers.
- + Smooth running for the price
- + Flexible, easy-to-solder 14 AWG wire
- + Runs cool under race conditions with a fan
- + Good value for beginner and casual use
- − Requires a programmer to set up
- − ECU arrived damaged on one unit
- − Less versatile than an alternative combo for racing, per one reviewer
