really nice starter 13.5 system that i use in a sc late modle oval car that needed a blinky style esc. i now 8 battery packs through it and there are some setting i changed right off the bat and one of those was the fan settings. i hate that the fan didn't come on when you first turn the esc on and you need to change that in the settings. then the ramp is something we don't use on oval but it needed to be changed before it was driveable on the oval. if i didn't buy the multifunction lcd bluetooth program box pro i would more then likely hated it and give it less of a review because programing without a program box is 100% a pain.

Waited for the G3 to come out and happy I did. Not sure if i just got a good motor or if they made some changes but it seams to pull out of the corners a bit better

What reviewers say

Reviewers overwhelmingly rate this 13.5T sensored brushless ESC and motor combo highly, most giving five stars as verified owners. Common uses include oval late model, sprint, midget, crate and off-road racing, as well as entry-level and budget builds. Reviewers describe it as easy to adjust, fast and run cool, with good value for the price. Several note that programming is simpler with the optional program box, and one reviewer found reverse setup difficult. A single one-star review reports inconsistent performance between motors and says that buying several motors to find a good one raises the cost. Delivery and packaging are generally praised. Most reviews do not specify a unit-to-unit consistency issue, so this criticism rests on one review.
