I have this 2300kv version in a VRD Carbon with stubby kit. It’s powered by a Rhino v80 2-6S ESC and this combo works amazingly well! I had to tweak the ESC tune a bit and found that lowering the startup power between 70-80 was the sweet spot for my use. The motor acted jittery when startup power was at 90 thru 110. This motor has a ton of torque and fits perfectly in a Vanquish stubby kit. I chose this over an outrunner motor because I wanted the weight this has over the outrunners I had. This allowed me to keep more of my forward weight bias I was desiring. I liked this 2300kv motor so much that I bought the 1800kv version to try for another project.
