The motor seems to work fine. I'm using it with a Furitek Lizard Pro UTB18 esc and there aren't any issues with the functionality. Any buyer of this motor needs to be made aware that it is NOT a drop-in fit for TRX4M. It does not fit standard cases without modification to the transmission case. I tried different transmission cases from Injora, TCRC, OGRC, RampCrab and Furitek and this motor would not fit any of them. I ended up drilling out the center motor hole to accommodate the motor shaft and sleeve, as well as having to drill out the motor mounting screw holes to accommodate 2.5mm screws. Also, I could not find a normal front drive shaft that fit and cleared. Stock front shaft will not fit. OGRC, Injora, RC Lions, and other similar shafts won't clear the oversized motor. I had to use the Furitek low-profile front shaft, which is a little disappointing because it's a very short shaft and you have to limit front suspension travel if you're trying to run the High Trail links and wheelbase. I would not recommend this motor if you're looking to use it in a high-travel / high-flex build.
