I was interested in how these might work on my Wraith build, & stock springs working well, these come fully assembled, & ready to install, I so tired of having to reseal oil filled shocks, these are a godsend...just love all of these all sizes
I have these shocks in 90mm, 100mm, and 120mm. I would also have 110mm but they don't offer a 110mm long shock, unfortunately. These shocks are great for scale crawlers. Just remove one of the lower o-rings and use only several drops of oil, instead of filling them. They are not made or ment to be filed with oil. I used to use Green Slime but this time with these 120mm's i tried out some mountain bike suspension seal grease called Buzzy's Slick Honey Bike Grease. It is notably superior to the Green Slime for this application and it comes in a larger tube. Don't be afraid to give these a try on your scale build. Just follow what i did, you'll have a good time. -Uncle Junior
