Hot Racing Adjustable Steering Turnbuckles for Traxxas UDR (2)

The weird little aluminum washers (silver, visible in the product photos contrasting against the blue rod ends) that are press fit in and hold the ball joints in place pop out constantly, and they’re extremely prone to metal fatigue as I learned the hard way when I ran my UDR for all of 3 seconds into these turnbuckles’ 5th run and one of these instantly sheared in two at the base of the rod end upon acceleration. The design’s decent, but they used a horrible method to contain the pivot balls and surprisingly made it an overall downgrade from the stock ones. I got these to get rid of the slop the stock turnbuckles had, and it did do that for all of 5 minutes before the washers popped out and it made the driving dynamics more horrific than they had ever been before. As if to add insult to injury, when you get these, they are not threadlocked at all, and mine came disassembled at least which did help a little bit with the application of threadlocker.
