It’s running great in my Kraton 4S BLX (the first version), I find the steering is much tighter than it used to be. It fits pretty snug and firm on the steering posts. I love how it uses actual bearings. They prevent a lot of wear and tear over time, just remember to oil them and clean them every once in a while. The stock design is awful, it’s just plastic rubbing on the metal steering posts. I used mine so much it wore down the actual steering posts. After replacing the steering posts, this fit perfectly and I had no real issues throwing it in. The only part I didn’t like was finding which one of the four holes to use at the one end. Each hole sets the toe of the front wheels and I wasn’t sure which one I should use so I used the one that held the wheels pointing as straight as possible. I don’t use it for any bashing so I don’t know if it does in that aspect, but on road with limited crashes, it’s holding up really nicely

Snapped right where the tie rod connects. No other damage to the car other than the bellcrank. Quite possibly the only person who has ever broke this beefy part but I am running 4s parts on my 3s Big Rock.

Really nice product. It is well made with superb machining. The fit was perfect in ARRMA Typhon 223. It made a huge difference in the handling and steering strength. I also added the HR servo saver and it is great as well. I will be adding HR turnbuckle balls next.

I will say they help, but I found is not the only part giving me problem. Later on I will buy the C hub and knuckles. The plastic bell crank was stretched that why the steering was really of, know with some tunes he get more straight, still my Arrma Outcast V2 4s need the Chun and knuckles is possible they're stretched as well

What reviewers say

Four verified owners rated this aluminum bearing steering bellcrank 4 to 5 out of 5. Reviewers generally report tighter, firmer steering and improved handling compared with the stock plastic part, and they praise the bearings and machining. Fit is described as snug and generally good on Arrma 4x4 platforms, including a Kraton 4S BLX and a Typhon 223, though one reviewer noted that choosing among the four toe-setting holes on one end was confusing. One reviewer reported the bellcrank snapped at the tie rod connection on a 3S Big Rock running 4S parts. Another reviewer found that worn steering components elsewhere, such as the hubs and knuckles, still limited steering, and suggested those parts may also need replacing.

  • + Tighter, firmer steering
  • + Bearings reduce wear
  • + Good machining and build quality
  • + Snug, generally easy fit
  • − Confusing choice of four toe holes
  • − Snapped at tie rod connection in one case
  • − Steering may still be limited by worn hubs or knuckles
