Pins keep falling out from the rubber boots not staying in place, the differentials seem damaged from New out put gears on the differentials not a good upgrade maybe there's better components than this maybe I did it wrong but as soon as you put the old out put gear back in the diff case the differentials works perfectly spin freely something with the machining of there gears in this kit is not right it's off.

They do not work with the typhon 3s, they are too short even with optional extended hubs. Couldn’t even get a run on them to test them, had high expectations as most other hr products are pretty well built. Unfortunately a big waste of money

Very nice heavy duty and durable but the only thing is there is a space between the differential and the out drives for the differential so your bearing is exposed on one side I hope they can come up with a solution for this

I bought six sets of these two to begin with and four for replacement. I bought other hot racing products with no issues. I thought it was my driving habit, it is not. The quality of this product is below hot racing standard do not purchase this product. Every time I take out my senton within 30 minutes hot racing axles break either it be a pin that comes out or axles that sheer in half. Would recommend RCawd axles. Do not waste your money on hot racing axles they are not worth $70. Id buy another set for paperweights

What reviewers say

Reviewers largely report negative experiences with these metal splined drive shafts. Recurring problems include pins falling out of the rubber boots, and one reviewer reports differential output gears spinning poorly after installing the new gears, though they note it worked again after refitting the original gear. A reviewer fitting a Typhon 3S found the shafts too short even with optional extended hubs. One reviewer praised the shafts as heavy duty and durable but noted a gap between the differential and outdrive that leaves a bearing exposed. Another reported repeated breakage, including pins coming out and shafts shearing, within about 30 minutes of running a Senton. Reviews are few and the experiences conflict on durability.

  • + Heavy duty and durable construction
  • + Strong build for one reviewer
  • − Pins fall out of rubber boots
  • − Shafts too short for Typhon 3S, even with extended hubs
  • − Repeated breakage and shearing reported
  • − Exposed bearing from gap between differential and outdrive
