The Hot Racing Arrma 6S Steel Helical Differential Ring/Pinion is a helical (spiral) cut gear upgrade for Arrma 1/8 6S BLX models. The 43T/10T gear set replicates the stock gear ratio, but the spiral cut gears offer increased durability and smoother rotation compared to the stock gears.

Features:

  • Offers greater strength and smoother operation than the factory straight cut gears
  • High carbon steel construction
  • Stronger than the stock bevel gears
  • Maintains the stock 43T/10T ratio
  • Weight: 32.35oz (66.75g)
  • Replaces AR310497 and AR310498 (must replace as a set)
NOTE:
  • Must replace front and rear gears as a set (purchase two sets)
  • Apply high temp grease to the gears
  • Not compatible with EXB 29mm Diff
Includes:
  • (1) 43 tooth diff spiral cut ring gear
  • (1) 10 tooth spiral cut pinion gear

These are WAY better than the stock, non-hardened junk metal ring and pinion gear in my Kraton 6s blx. I blew two sets of rear stock ones out in a month, and since putting these in they are alot stronger, quieter, and smoother. Also hot racing has a deal where if you hurt these, you send them back and they give you a discount on a new set. They are a bit overpriced though so that's why I gave 4 star rating.

Mounted them to Hot Racing BLX diff cases. The dish of both ring gears is off by about a millimeter and a half. I have 2 shims now and it could use another 3 or 4. I only have 2 battery cycles on them, all the teeth are there but they're heavily worn. I recommend anything else.
