Recently installed on a Reefs Raw 500 in a V5 Kraton. Fits with no issue, the supplied screw was too long for the servo but thats no big deal just beware.
Another great part from hot racing. My only complaint is that I wish the arm that connects to the servo horn was adjustable in length so I could dial in the center point more precisely like all my Tekno rigs have stock. Quality is top notch though, and I've purchased every Hot racing part just about for both the Kraton and my TRX-4, and have no issues with any of them.
A great replacement for the plastic one. Less slop in the steering too.
Hot racing makes some awesome products. Just one thing is make sure you loctite the one screw holding the steering link arm to the servo arm it will back out if not. Other that that awesome product and looks great!!
a bit over priced if you ask me but does the job. There are cheeper options out there that do just as good of a job.
Six reviews, mostly 4 to 5 stars, describe this aluminum fixed-link steering part for Arrma Kraton and Outcast models. Reviewers generally find it well made, a clear upgrade over the plastic original, and reducing steering slop. Recurring points include the need to secure the link-arm screw with thread locker, since it can back out, and a supplied servo screw that one owner found too long. One reviewer wished the servo-side arm were length-adjustable for finer centering. One buyer ordered the 25-tooth version for a stock 23-tooth servo and noted the mistake was theirs. One reviewer considered it somewhat overpriced compared with alternatives that perform similarly.

- + Good looks
- − Link arm screw can back out without thread locker
- − Supplied servo screw may be too long
- − Servo-side arm not length-adjustable
- − Priced high for some buyers
