looks good, but the motor wont line up without modification, I had to mod mine and it seems to be working for now, but it's not designed properly.
This part is of excellent quality and would highly recommend! I run the HR case in all my 24s with no problems.
So you bought you a scx24? Huh, having transmission issues? Hey this ain’t the right spot, but it’s a rabbit hole for you. Snatch up this transmission case designed by hot racing, does not have a bunch of internal play with stock bearings. Back out of here, and search for YEAH RACING transmission gears. Theees 2 sets, one has inner transmission gears and the other kit has a brass pinion, and spur. I didn’t need pinion (probably made for brushed motors) since I am brushless. With the YEAH RACING gears, and this transmission case, you can build you a bulletproof transmission for your stock looking scx24. I highly suggest this product for anyone in dire need of a transmission case. This fixes all issue you have with a transmission you can think of. Thank you amain !!!
Three reviews, with two positive and one negative. One reviewer rated it 1/5, saying the motor did not line up without modification and that they had to modify their unit, which now works but was described as poorly designed. Two reviewers rated it 5/5, praising its quality, reporting no problems when used in SCX24 builds, and noting reduced internal play with stock bearings. One 5/5 review is largely a recommendation to pair the case with YEAH RACING gears, which is off-topic for this product. Motor alignment is the main recurring point of concern.
