Hot Racing Front/Rear Wide Sway Bar for Traxxas Slash

Nice looking parts but NO instructions, not ONE install picture, not even a link to pictures at the hot racing website. Come on HR! Customers shouldnt have to scour the internet to research how to install these things.
I had a lot of doubts about these sway bars because of all the negative reviews online claiming they do not fit the 2wd Slash with LCG chassis. I can confirm that they do indeed fit and without any modifications. I wish I could post pictures here as proof. Hot Racing deserves some credit because the 2wd Slash just is not designed to use sway bars. I would rate the front sway bar higher than the rear. The geometry is just better. One area that could improve is how the sway bar is secured to the bracket. When using the thinnest bar, the bar tends to pop out of the bracket ends. It still works but it isn't ideal. The thicker bars work better. The rear bar is really just a miracle. It actually works pretty well given the geometry forced upon the design is far from ideal. As swsy bars go it is certainly unusual. Take care on installation. Only one way makes the bar function well. (amain needs pictures!) Really the only thing Hot Racing needs to improve is just to include some installation pictures. Otherwise this is a very decent product that puts sway bars on a platform not designed for them with zero cutting required. Not too shabby!
This does not work with a 2wd slash with an LCG conversion. I bought this without researching it completely and had to trim and bend the rear bar to fit. It will not bolt up. That being said, the parts are quality and durable for the price. Good value.
Ok for fronts and no guidance for install for rear. Maybe original Traxxas would have been a better option. Only race road course which is not common for Slash
Needs to be filed and fit to work correctly and still tends to bind up and break end links easily.
Reviewers largely agree that the parts are well made and look good, but fit and installation are the main issues. Several owners of 2WD Slash models with an LCG chassis report the rear bar does not bolt up without trimming, bending, or filing, while one reviewer says the bars fit without modification. The front bar receives more positive comments than the rear. Reviewers also note the thinnest bar can pop out of its bracket and the links may bind and break. Installation instructions are absent, and one reviewer criticises the lack of guidance for the rear bar. Ratings range from 1 to 4 out of 5, and the reviews appear to refer to the same Hot Racing sway bar set for the Traxxas Slash.
