This a good upgrade for one main reason, the aluminum links are thinner at the pivot balls than the plastic ones so they offer more clearance inboard to keep them away from the tires. The plastic ones rub on the tires at times due to their thickness at the pivot balls. I gave the HPI set 4 stars, this set get 5 because they swing better from the start and they are much more attractive in appearance due to them being thinner, having the milled out center sections and spacers are included.
