Awesome upgrade. I went brushless on one car, and this on the other. Honestly it keeps up better than I expected. I think this is the perfect middle ground for a car this size. So much faster than stock, and easy to install, especially if you get the mount with it too, which I would recommend.
Need to make a minor mod on the back of the battery box next to the chassie mount but it fits great and way more speed. Also if you end up putting larger tires it can handle the load with no issues.
***UPDATE*** Wow.. dropped it into a stock buggy and ran 3 batteries through it and it’s working flawlessly without stopping! Needs a break-in.. lesson learned! Very nice motor, but only last for about 1-2min before stopping for 30 sec to cool down..going for another few minutes and then stops again. Writing this now as I watch my car stopped across the backyard waving at me with the still active steering. Ordering a new stock 65t now.
