If you have the Losi Mini-T or B, these shocks are a must for racing. There are a couple important things I did to make these shocks feel perfect and it starts by ditching the blue springs that these come with and stick with the stock black springs that your Losi Mini-T or B come with. I used Associated 40 wt. shock oil in the front and Associated 30 wt. in the rear for carpet racing and these are super smooth and consistent. I hope this review helps and have fun racing!
Great replacement, much easier to fill with the top cap bleeder than the bottom feed shocks in this size range.. Stock black and 27.5 oil feels really good so far.. wish I could upload a pic
Bought for losi mini t 2.0 .needed shock tower offsets but other than that..they work..nothing fancy but they work
bent after a few jumps. i just jump around 2 to 3 feet as the mini-t is to 2 small for bigger jumps anyway. i still have the stock ones and they never got bent or broke. very dissapointed :(
Four verified owners rated these Losi Mini-T 2.0 front aluminum threaded shocks between 1 and 5 out of 5. Reviewers generally found them functional, with praise for smooth, consistent action when filled with recommended oils and for the top-cap bleeder making filling easier. One reviewer noted the shocks needed shock tower offsets to fit. The main reported problem is durability: one owner reported the shocks bent after a few small jumps and said the stock shocks held up better. One reviewer recommended removing the included blue springs in favour of stock black springs, and another reported using 27.5 weight oil with good results.
- + Smooth, consistent action
- + Easy filling via top cap bleeder
- + Works as a replacement
- − Bent after small jumps
