I wish there was a review before I purchased this tool, well the shock gauge red indicator is annoyingly loose with no way to tighten so that its not constantly in the way. worse part is that the Spring Gauge is alright for off road RC, but Touring car springs shorter than 60mm are to small for gauge to compress, and there is no instructions-or info on packaging to know what the measurements indicate. No One mentions these things - no youtube-your on your own. other than that its nicely crafted.
Glad I waited for this to come back into stock! Set up my Box stock drag shocks, changed fluid, and it runs straight down the track every time. Unit is very sturdy, well-marked, and easy to use. Has a lock to keep it from sliding back and forth while in your bag or tool kit. If you rebuild your own shocks this tool has proved itself to be the best value, I could find. Highly suggest it.
This is a perfect tool for the hobby very usefull.
Reviewers describe the tool as well made, sturdy and easy to use, with one owner calling it good value for rebuilding shocks. Ratings range from 2 to 5. One reviewer reports the red shock gauge indicator is loose with no way to tighten it, and that the spring gauge cannot compress touring car springs shorter than 60mm. That reviewer also says the packaging lacks instructions explaining the measurements. A positive reviewer notes a built-in lock prevents sliding while stored.
