This is a replacement HPI Nitro Star F3.5 V2 Nitro Engine with Pullstart. The F3.5 V2 features a crankcase and heatsink design with larger heatsink fins for improved cooling. This design makes the engine 22g lighter and 4mm taller. A pullstart utilizes a one-way bearing encased in a large 14mm hex for increased durability.
The F3.5 engine will give you eye-opening acceleration and crazy top speeds! The engine is started by a simple pullstarter system and the two-needle carburetor allows you to fine-tune the performance for any kind of weather or fuel.
One added benefit of the Nitro Star F3.5 is that it's a race-legal .21-size engine, which means you can drop down to your local track or club and enter in a race as soon as you open the box! On the inside, the F3.5 has true ABC construction, with a chrome-plated brass piston and cylinder surrounded by the lightweight aluminum case.

Put this in my wr8 3.0. It rips like hell. Runs like crap on 20% vp but 25% is where its game. Added the rotostart 3 as well. 8 tanks so far and starts right up every time. Oh did i mention that it rips like hell?
Fantastic engines as well, you truly can’t go wrong with any Hpi nitro stuff! I suggest O.S glow plugs but HPIs new glow plug line ups are fantastic too! I just like the longevity and reassurance of an older glow plug product line! The 4.6 is a worthwhile upgrade too! If you want more power and should be an exact drop in replacement
