This is a nice bag. I bought it to protect my Futaba 7PX, but it is too small for that radio. It fits in it, but I have to put it upside down. I put the radio in the case, then put the case in a backpack, and somehow it broke the wheel housing. Not the bags fault, but it’s definitely not big enough to hold that radio
Nice compact travel bag for hauling your expensive transmitter safely to the local track. I wouldn’t recommend for airline travel unless packed in a larger rigid or semi rigid bag with other components in similar bags. It’s not going to be as protective as bags with custom foam. This bag fits the Sanwa M17 and MT5 perfectly. I place the transmitter in what may be considered upside down with the screen opposite the handle and the wheel facing out. The elastic holds it in place nicely, easily zips closed, and enough clearance for the wheel in this orientation. I’d be concerned the wheel might get damaged right side up (opposite direction).
I was hesitant to make this purchase, especially after all the comments about fitment issues with specific radios. After watching 25DeZines video on YouTube I decided to pull the trigger on this purchase. The wheel does stick out a little bit once the bag is completely closed, which I expected but I'm still overall pretty happy with my purchase. I'm currently using the following setup. -Futaba T10PX w/Wheel offset adapter (APA) -Azada 6 Spoke Steering Wheel
