Not what I expected at all from Hudy. Leaks badly from neck when bottle is squeezed. Fails its most important feature..not to leak. Metal part pops out of plastic bottle neck unless you glue it in. I used Goop and holds well now.

Mine has been great, no leaks, I perfer Boone I can remove the lid on and fill. ThebHudy fuel bottle takes some finessing to get filled up, especially with gallon jugs, but it can be done.

Anonymouson Hudy Fuel Bottle w/Aluminum Neck (500cc)

The best fuel bottle I own and I own quite a few. The guy the wrote that it leaks bad must have a defective bottle because I have 2 and neither leak. Bottle is the perfect thickness so when squeezed to draw up fuel it easily fills. The stem is Hudy aluminum need I say more?

What reviewers say

Three reviews give mixed results. One verified owner reported leaking from the neck when squeezed and said the metal neck pops out of the plastic unless glued, resolving it with Goop. Two other reviewers reported no leaks; one praised the bottle's wall thickness for drawing fuel and the aluminum stem, while noting filling can take some finesse, especially from gallon jugs. The leak complaint is contradicted by the other two reviews, suggesting it may reflect an individual unit issue, but the sample is small.

  • + No leaks reported by two reviewers
  • + Good wall thickness for drawing fuel
  • + Aluminum neck/stem
  • − Neck may leak when squeezed (one report)
  • − Metal neck can pop out of plastic unless glued
  • − Filling takes finesse, especially from gallon jugs
